Xiongtai trunnion ball valves are designed to meet requirements of American Petroleum Institute standard API6D and normally conform to American society of Mechanical Engineers standard ASME B16.34 valves are available in a complete range of body/bonnet materials and trims. The trunnion ball valve is used to cut off or connect the media in various of Class150~Class2500. The valves made of different materials are suitable for various media such as water, steam, oil, liquefied gas, natural gas, coal gas, nitric acid, oxidizer, urea and etc. The driving modes include manual operation and electric operation. The connection ends can be flange or butt welding, threat or NPT, socket welding. There are some features.

1. Reliability of operation

Due to the use of Teflon with small friction coefficient, the relative connecting part (valve seat and stem bearing) of large caliber ball valve has small operation torque. In addition, due to the long-term lubrication of sealing grease, the operation is more flexible.

2. Seat construction

There are two types of valve seat structure: single seal and double seal structure. Generally, the single seal with self relieving press can be used, and the double seal is provided with additional safety pressure relief on the valve body.

3. Stem extension

The valve stem extension is suitable for buried and low temperature use. The extension size is determined according to the needs. The operation modes include manual, pneumatic, electric, pneumatic, etc.

4. Safety against external forces

The wall thickness of the valve body shall be designed according to the safety regulations of the high pressure vessel, and the external force and bending resistance shall meet the requirements of API6D, with sufficient strength.

5. Stem gland seal

As shown in the figure, four O-rings and sealing grease injection device are used for packing gland part seal.
